After the weekend Bradley Saunders looks a really poor signing.
Even if that was a one off bad performance his hands look a real problem.

Frankie Gavin has to go on the list.

    Best signings, DeGale, McDonnell, Selby.

But when a promoter doesn't take advice ie no southpaws if possible and Ricky gets 3 out of 4 sothpaws in his next fights, then the fighter can hardly take the blame
    Gonzalez; Switch hitter
Crawford ; Switch hitter, granted mandatory but so was Gonzalez, why two mandatory' in three fights?
    Zlat ; Southpaw
Eddie didn't listen when he was told so must take some responsibility

Worst- Gavin, Macklin, Saunders, Ryder and maybe Cleverly
Best- Not going to go with the most obvious but Warrington (Financially), McDonnell, Degale and Selby

Cant just avoid fighters because they are southpaw, should be dealing with guys like Gonzales and Zlaticanin very easily. If you cant fight against southpaws then you really aren't as good as you claim to be.

FFS Billy I would personally love to blame fast Eddie for the Burns fiasco but if Ricky is that hopeless against southpaws
then he is nothing more then euro level- nobody can blame fast car for that

Best? Froch and AJ, no question.

Worst? Dunno. I think his worst are sometimes just business decisions to keep things in-house, so to speak.

    Why no southpaws? :lol::lol::lol::lol:

If he's as good as you make him out to be, Southpaws will be a doodle, no?

Surely Cleverly and Gavin have been great signings. Brought in some lovely money for Eddie with no work whatsoever. Got Frankie and paid him sod all to get battered by Kell, now lined him up to get KTFO by a genuine banger of a youngster.

Worst - ochieng? Don't think he's still with him, can't include the likes of clev and Gavin who were basically brought in to be opponents for a big fight

Would put Coyle as one of his better ones from a financial sense

What I'm saying is every fighter has strengths and weaknesses and Ricky's is boxing southpaws I'd say he's 70% affective against them. hence why the fight with Zlat was made was madness imo, a big punching southpaw, now you can go on about Zlat should be an easy nights work, well he's just beat another few gutys and he's more than earned a world title shot, because he's no big promoter he will be avoided like the plague until he's mandatory.
