Eddie Hearn signs Majidov (beat Anthony Joshua in amateurs)

When he won his first world championship he stopped 4 of 6 opponents on the way including Erislandy Savon & Sardor Abdullayev who are both known to take a good punch.
He also has stoppage wins against Dychko, Magomed Omarov so he definitely has some pop.

In his more recent bouts he looked a lot more sluggish though and didn't manage to impress so I agree that he probably won't achieve much in the pros, seems like he peaked a few years ago

 

True the 240 plus am stand out wouldn't last with anyone on the forum even ,he should have his boxing license removed in fact because the first criteria is power and if you aren't a hard enough hitter for some in the division you aren't cut for boxing.

Majidov is the ONLY man to ever stop Ivan Dychko and Erislandy Savon in the amateurs.

He is also the ONLY man who dropped Roberto Cammarelle as far as I know. Nobody else ever did it.
