AJ`s 19th fight against Klitschko an ATG in front of 90,000. Wilder`s 19th fight against Daniel Cota in an 8-rounder in front of 5 men and a dog.
Is that an example of Eddie working hard to negotiate the fight? Sounds like he's really trying to maximize the gate with comments like that.
And of those 5 men, one was a builder, one was a window cleaner, one was an electrician, one was a plumber and the other was Wilder's next opponent.
Is Hearn only going to match Joshua with fighters who fought someone impressive in their 19th fight? Is that what he's summing up? Wilder's fought 20 times since then.
Mike Tyson fought Steve Zouski in his 19th fight. George Foreman fought someone named Aaron Eastling in his 19th fight. When Tyson and Foreman were about to engage in their 40th fight, would Hearn insist Joshua couldn't fight them ... because they fought such losers in their 19th bout? Yeah, Hearn is really nailing these negotiations. What a genius. Making all the right moves ... to ensure it never happens.
Not quite sure of Hearn's angle there. Really he just needs to compare Joshua's and Wilder's revenue for last few fights to show the gulf in money terms.
AJ has only fought once more, and has Takam on his resume. That's better than anybody in those 20 fights, by a long damn margin.
I'm all for passing Wilder criticism but I'd be more impressed with Hearn if he spent more time writing a contract and less time talking ****
I don't know how you can be bothered to defend Wilder on every thread, the guy is a complete dick with the worst resume in pro boxing.
Pretty sure I saw an article today with Hearn saying the Wilder fight is the biggest fight to be made in boxing. Sure you guys aren’t gossiping like women?
