or Broner could just fight in his hometown. A few more years Broner will be in Vegas fighting on PPV. America is dominated by TV ratings that is how all sports make there money. American College football fans support in stadiums is down from where it used to be but the schools are making more money than ever because of TV

We've already proven that European TV and live gate ratings **** all over America's, even their biggest names.

So maybe it could be a good idea for Broner to go fight Burns in UK (if Burns beat Vasquez)

There is also good money in europe in bigger fights.

I also noticed that the atmosphere sucked in Broners match, he cant sell a ticket to save his life.
I did not like the booing in Bikas match, it was a good scrap.
Froch and Hatton had amazing support in the broadcasts i watched in their last performances.

Rees definetly gained some fans with his performance like Eddie Hearn stated in the video. Thanks for ESB im aware now of Eddie Hearn and i do agree with lots of stuff he says.

You're so ******ed I'm not even going to dignify that idiotic comment with a sensible response.

Here's something a little more on your level. It's a dog licking his balls.

I dont understand the hostility by US folk when we talk about attendances, TV audiences, atmosphere etc for fights ...... points of observation seem to be taken as personal attacks when for the most part there is concern as much as criticism. :bart

See these things are all wrong. HBO pays Broner's bills not how many fans are in the venue. GBP clearly has a deal with that casino which is why Broner fights there. Broner could get a lot more fans to his matches if he were to go back to Cincy.

not at all UK fans just dont get it. Nobody in the US is traveling to Atlantic city for a Broner fight. Cincinnati is 700 miles away from A city. Broner fights for a HBO subscribers not fans in a venue

We are talking about attendance and tv viewers. Not who pays Broners bills. Im not disagreeing what you wrote but your talking about a different thing all together.

I agree what you wrote but we werent discussing about that.

We get it. I acknowledged the Casino thing in a post earlier.

US fight fans don't turn out to watch their champions for whatever reason. It's a sad state of affairs.

Broner is American. He's being touted as the next start of boxing. Yet, for some reason he struggles to sell 3k tickets in America. What does it matter if it's in his home town or not? He's an America fighting in America. Don't give me that hometown rubbish.

The Klitschkos are Ukrainian yet can fill out any football stadium in Germany, probably entire mainland Europe. Froch is from Nottingham but just sold out an 18k arena in London. Haye is from London but sold out 21k seats in Manchester. Khan sells out arenas all over the country.

Again, you don't have to take this as an insult, it's just an observation - but Americans just aren't interested in turning out to watch their biggest boxers.

Also, if you want to go into PPV then British fighters sell more PPVs in a pound for pound sense than the US.

I understand that but feel it would be better for all, including HBO subscribers, if events had more fans and passion.

Something needs to be done :deal
