Frampton, for all his supposed popularity, does poor TV numbers. That's the reality.

    It's about money, it's a business.

No idea tbh because to be fair for sure FW would surely of certainly signed him if that was the case.He has promoted untold Irish and certainly traveller fighters.

History of the fight game like it or not three things ability, ethnicity and marketability of a fighter always gets the money men interested.

Irish fighters always easy to promote on the second and third points even the ones without standout ability have done well.

Whereas every other promoter is a charitable fellow looking out for the boxers rather than themselves???

What world do you live in?

If anything the small hall promoters are the worse, I can name a few that wouldnt let their own mum box on a show without selling 200 tickets.

    Exactly.

People live in cloud cuckoo land when it comes to boxing and business.

What's your hero McGuigan doing for Irish boxing? If some of these lads are so brilliant why isn't he signing them up?

he's got Selby to a world champ, he promoted ricky burns in a few world title fights, and did well to get Crawford over here. Did a show in Ireland with macklin, spike etc.

Not sure what the issue is, England has 80% + of the UK population and probably more of the urban population where boxers often come from, that's pretty much the make up of matchrooms stable.

yeah but it was all ENGLISH boxers that turned pro - Joshua, Campbell, Ogogo, Stalker all turned over straight after the olympics

The welsh boys Evans and selby and the scottish boy taylor and the two northern irish boys Conlan and Barnes all stayed amateur which completely proves my point!!!!

If they were english guys like Conlan and Barnes would have signed with him a long time ago

belfast is probably per population the best city in the UK for producing talent right now..pro and and amateur they have an endless supply of talent its terrible that Hearn doesn't have a stable there and he calls himself a Uk promoter

Wales have a load of top fighters pro and am he should defo have more welsh fighters

i an understand him not having many scottish fighters at the moment because theres not many good scottish boxers right now.. but surely he should have snapped up Josh taylor!

I'm just telling the truth.... he signs way too many bums like Ochieng, camacho, and Boylan, etc just cause they are from London when He could be signing future world champions like Ryan Burnett, Michael Conlan, Paddy Barnes, Josh Taylor, etc
