Yeah he's just confirmed it on a IFL TV interview. So from the horses mouth.

Yeah, literally hearing it as I type this.

Think it is fantastic news. Cannot be a bad thing at all.

    Potential positives and negatives.

Possibly result in televised shows on Sky from out there, taking some of his fighters out to get some experience over the water which is a good thing.

However, could result in less opportunities on our shores for an already massive matchroom stable, would hate to see fighters that joined Matchroom to avoid inactivity end up having the same problems all over again.

Would of thought he would of got 1 of his fighters on 2nites bill as could be great experience for 1 of his novices and done bit better for sky ratings

Exactly, should have tried to get Callum Smith or Anthony Joshua on bill. Be surprised if he don't on the Brook bill. Remember he got Kell Brook a fight on undercard of Froch v Ward for experience (which hopefully will set him in good stead for his title fight out there)

It's not something that hasn't been done before. I mean Frank ****** promoted in America, in fact Frank promoted the classic first fight of the legendary trilogy between Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales.

    Dont exaggerate!
Top rank promoted that. FW just had a small share in MAB at that time.

    Exactly.

He would LIKE to....but will he? Doubt it.

American market is very different. To make money he would need a PPV act, and who apart from Carl Froch is PPV with him? You could also argue that Froch is UK PPV only too.

To promote a show in America he would be a co-promotor, promoting Kell Brook vs Porter etc. No way can he do it alone without alienting Top Rank, GBP etc.

I'm not exaggerating, Frank was involved in the promotion of that fight.
