frank would of been on the phone within seconds of seeing eddie saying this, his next interview will be of him saying how easy it is to deal with Gallagher and it’s a pleasure doing business with him.

 

If I was Frank I would be trying to sign Callum Smith to a promotional deal.

 

Just pathetic in my opinion. Have your tiffs with whoever but be professional at least. We could see the likes of Callum Johnson, Liam Smith, Callum Smith etc but he won’t work with Gallagher so we’ll have to watch rubbish cards like we got the other Saturday. The only people who lose out are the fighters and boxing fans, the two things that Eddie is supposed to be looking after.

 

Agreed, it's petty as hell and also very hypocritical. Savannah Marshall just boxed last weekend on a Matchroom Sky PPV. Who is she trained by? Peter Fury who branded Hearn a "c**ksucker" after he accused Hearn of trying to hijack the Hughie-Parker fight.

Tyson Fury has publicly humiliated Hearn on multiple occasions in the media, yet Hearn would wipe his arse if it meant that Fury would sign with Matchroom. He's actively in negotiations with him too.

What Joe Gallagher said is low as hell and he should definitely apologise in public and privately for the comments. But is that sufficient reason to freeze him out and his fighters as well? The man has to make a living after all.

As a Johnson fan I can't help but feel really angry at Hearn's stance here. He doesn't like Gallagher so on that basis he's just going to deny Callum a living?! Callum has probably only had two really substantial purses in his career in Buglioni and Beterbiev. Hasn't fought for 18 months now. Sickening. And people here like Hearn. He's supposed to be a promoter with a duty of care towards his fighters.

 

Nothing to do with Joe Gallagher, if Canelo says tomorrow I want the Callum Smith fight and it's good money... Hearn will be working with Joe Gallagher, TRUST ME.

Hearn was starting to feel real pressure to make Johnson Vs Buatsi.

Hearn doesn't want that to happen any time soon, he wants Johnson rusty and out the ring for a very long time and Buatsi will keep busy and only then will Hearn suddenly offer Johnson a Buatsi fight.

When Johnson says "I want a warm up fight first" and Hearn will say "No" and spin it as Johnson didn't want the fight.

 

When Eubank SR proved too difficult to work with for JR fights the Eubanks were rightly blamed. Why is it Hearn is getting blamed now when Gallagher has proven to be difficult?

 

The interesting thing for me in this is that its not just Gallaghers higher profile fighters missing out. Hearn said he had offered fights to Morrison Hyde and couple more. Warren doesn't deal with him at all and look at the fighters from Gallagher gym over the years that have moved from Warren to matchroom. Says alot to me.
