Eddie Hearn vs Turki Alalshikh

So, word is that Eddie Hearn no longer wants to work with Turki on any future events. It kind of sucks because we have gotten some decent fight cards due the the cross promotion.

Do you think this has anything to do with the fact that Eddie Hearn has a habit of overhyping his fighters to be something they clearly aren't, thus he's 0 for whatever vs Turki.....

I know he was extra animated over Madrimov losing to Crawford.... And apparently he's chanting about the Bivol loss currently.

I honestly hope he isn't getting extra emotional over the results. He's been around this sport long enough to know that anything can happen on fight night.

Word....that's good to hear. I've actually enjoyed the cards lately..... I saw it being talked about on another forum.... Then I saw a video on YouTube with one of the channels discussing the rumor.

If it's false.... I'm okay with it.

Doesn't seem like it. Turki seemed fine with the decision.

 

LOL......Are you seriously using that article as a source. That article is written by and individual who wasn't at the fight, didn't speak with the fighters, nor his excellency. He pretty much has as much credibility on the situation as you and I. He has a WiFi connection, maybe read what someone else discussed, or wrote about and then started typing.

In other words.........That's not first hand knowledge. That's the loser of the fight claiming that someone else said something that he didn't say to the public. There are reaction videos all over the place.... I've yet to see where His Excellency as stated or hinted to him thinking Bivol was the winner. Saying he wanted a rematch......I mean.... why would he. It was a great fight. The public wouldn't mind seeing it again. But unless you have a video or an article by someone who actually spoke to His Excellency on his opinion of the results.....I can't help but look at the link casually.
