Hearn trying to get in control of the narrative cause right now it was Brook ducking Spence. He tried to preemptively do it before months ago but then Spence said he didn't hear of it and wants the fight. Aren't there some deadlines closely approaching, we shall see something soon.

Why did they need the extensions? and the offer can't have been any good thats why its knocked back.

Canelo offered GGG great offers and didn't get no reply?

So you are suggesting Brook can't negotiate with Spence because he's ducking? Well, extend that logic to the Khan situation and you've kinda tacitly admitted - by implication - Khan ducked Brook. You really don't do yourself any favours, do you?

Yeah purse bids have to start by the 7th of Feb. We'll see by next week what becomes of this potential fight.

I think you have confused yourself?

Khan has zero obligation to fight Brook and has made a very reasonable offer at 70-30, he is the undeniable a side. His market value is much more than 50-50 vs Brook

Brook is obliged to fight Spence it has been mandated and he keeps on trying to extend negotiations hoping Spence gets bored and gives up. The problem for Brook is he's getting found out next week.

You guys are acting as if the purse bid has already happened and Spence did a Kovalev!!!!

Spence isn't Kovalev, Spence is the truth and these allegations will make him Hammer that noggin a little bit harder!!!!!

No James, I've confused you. Apologies...

You said Brook was struggling to negotiate with Spence (implying a duck) but was not struggling likewise with Khan, implying it's not Brook who is putting up the roadblocks, which when applying your logic points straight at Amir as the one avoiding making the fight. Your logic. Not mine.

Anytime a fighter offers 70-30 to another elite name - the one with the belt remember - that is basically saying 'not gonna fight you'...

If you can't see that, then I'm sorry but your fanboi-ism for Khan is way stronger than your ability to comprehend basic facts.

The sad thing is, before Khan became semi-retired from the sport, he used to seem to find negotiating fights way easier. It's a huge compliment to Brook that Khan is driving such a hard bargain this time. But, I guess that's what fighters do when they are faced with the prospect of a crushing defeat which would leave their career with nowhere to go and their earning potential shattered like a glass jaw. Pity, Khan could have been great but chose to be a fraud...

Brook applied for a medical extension to extend the purse bid time frame and then immediately started negotiating to fight Khan.

Thats like me taking sick leave for work and then while on sick leave working for the rival company across the road!!!!

Floyd fought Canelo for his title and got 89-11 split (41.5-5mill), Floyd cleared in total over 100million and Canelo got between 12-15mill,

Canelo was arguably the 3rd biggest draw in the sport and not only did the ridiculous split took the fight at a catchweight and people today call Canelo a coward?

Why would they need to make offers to Spence, I don't believe this crap at all, if Brook was my fighter and he was getting 75% I wouldn't need to make offers just let it get to a purse bid and either we get to keep most the money.

This is clearly a ruse to make it look like Spence or Spence's people are the ones blocking the fight but examine the evidence.
    1. Brook/ his team wanted another medical extension.
    2. Brook has been pursing the Khan fight these past few months.
    3. Brook has repeatedly stated my team want me to move up.
    4. Brook has mentioned all the other top fights he wants to make except this Spence fight.
    5. Brook is the one who said he can't get up for a 'Spencer' fight recently.

Spence has quietly waited (which I don't like I want him to be calling Brook a ***** and getting him to commit) for the IBF to do their job and order the purse bid. All the evidence stacks towards the conclusion that Brook and his team do not want this fight.

So first of all Brook will get his highest ever payday vs Amir Khan. Now it's his highest ever payday fighting Spence.

Can someone please stop moving the goalposts.

Let's wait and see what happens re Spence, we don't know what the offer was and neither do we know why Spence wouldn't send a counter-offer.

I understand that GBP and K2 have been talking and the negotiations are positive, per Sanchez and ODLH. The teams can't be very far apart, as both ODLH and Loeffler have stated that they expect the fight will happen unless Chavez Jr or Jacobs pull the upset.

But I don't expect anything certain to be announced until May at the earliest, both GBP and K2 are trying to sell their next fights as 50-50 affairs to boost ppv sales.

So with purse bids imminent you think Hearn is ready to destroy his character by just straight up lying.

The benefit in doing that is what exactly?

You say Spence has patiently waited. I say Al Haymon has no desire to put Spence in with Brook.

How does he destroy his character by lying about making offers? I should of said I don't believe he made good offers and if I'm wrong then he still wins because his fighter will be making the most money between the two regardless.

You say that but obviously eddy doesn't believe since he seems eager to try to stop the fight going to a purse bid doesn't he? If Spence wasn't gunna fight Brook why not fight someone else and go for another belt than wait months of your career waiting for the purse bid?
