Pretty sure he doesn't have to take it just wait for the purse bid and then that will decide.

If he wasn't cleared to even start sparring why are they desperate for the Khan fight?

    A) They think Khan is an easy fight because Brook is naturally much bigger and would have significant advantages come fight night.

    B) Khan is coming off hand surgery, a brutal loss and his personal life is rock bottom at the moment so do they want to capitalise on this as well?

    C) Errol Spence is a tough fight - UK home advantage or not - and Kell doesn't have the confidence that he can take him on and win. All Brook's interviews regarding Spence would indicate towards this.

I know people hate on Khan here for whatever reason but it's not as though Brook is a total angel in this either; they are looking to cash out massively on a fighter who is rebuilding professionally and personally. Eddie is a snake for that.

What's the issue with looking for a stadium fight with Khan. Would make the most financial sense.

Makes me laugh when people say Brook is swerving 'the killer' Spence. He's a good fighter but he got in the ring at 160 with GGG...If a Welterweight does that then in my eyes they aren't a ducker.

Brook wants to ko khan because he hates him and calls him out for the fraud that he is.
Khan has made out for years hes better than brook and hes gonna fight him but puts obstacle after obstavle in the way.brook wants it,the fans want it khan doesnt.end of,he just needs to shut his mouth about it

Khan is no fraud, he used to be a LEGIT contender and a deserved champion at the time. He used to be in thrilling fights (Maidana for example) and is resume SH1TS all over Kell Brook's. The time Khan was making $5,000,000 per fight and was champion, Kell Brook was fighting in small arenas and using Khan's name to gain popularity DESPITE having a marquee promotor.

Brook has FACED one legit Top 10 contender in his 13 year boxing career (2004-) outside of Golovkin and that was Shaun Porter who he beat in a close fight.

Fighting Yo-Yo Dan or Kenan and Kel on undercards does not give you a great legacy.

Brook and his lovers are riding off his GGG performance but the reality is that he has done VERY little despite being considered the top 147LB fighter out there. You people SERIOUSLY need to get some perspective and not let bias or racial prejudices get in the way of making a sound and coherent judgement.

Hang on, let's use the SAME logic when apply it to Khan then.

He moved UP and fought Canelo - who weighed close to 180lbs that night - and was winning until he got tagged. Kell Brook got put on his back foot by Golovkin in the 1st round - had some success - and got half face smashed in.

    Khan is the ducker

    but Kell is the hero

despite BOTH going up and both getting smashed?

Khan didn't go up 2 weight classes to fight the most feared man in boxing, Brook did.

Spence would KO Brook. Hometown cooking won't matter.

    I will repeat it here..

Heard it all before, time and time again, two big punchers that stick out..

Jeff Lacy was coming to the UK to ruin Calzaghe.
Gerald McClellan was coming to the UK to ruin Nigel Benn.

You keep sending them over here to the UK saying they will ruin our fighters and we send them back ruined.

Lacy was an over muscled slapper, hardly ever punching with the knuckles. Calzaghe smacked the **** out of him for 12 rounds. It was rather embarrassing. McClellan never looked unbeatable to me. It was just whether a guy could take his power or not. Benn hit him with a shot that injured his brain early on in that fight. If that shot never happened, McClellan may have ended up KOing Benn. Make no mistake. Brook, is not Benn, and his boxing ability is over rated. He struggled with Porter. The eye ball test tells me that he is a highlight reel KO for Spence, if they fight.

You seem to be forgetting the huge hype surrounding the pair of those fighters but in fairness to those fighters they had done far more than Spence Jr has done to somewhat justify some of the hype.

Spence Jr looks good, I like him but I believe he is completely untested, You can talk bout eye tests but your eyes have seen Spence Jr in against Bundu and Algieri not Porter or Golovkin.

    Troll post.

Brook has a granite chin, one of the best in boxing today. He stood up to the p4p most powerful puncher in boxing who was two weight classes above him and never went down.

If anything Brook KO'in Spence is far more likely as there are definite question marks around Spence's chin. This is also a massive step up for Spence where as Brook has already fought fighters as good and better in Porter/GGG.

Brook struggled with Porter, I thought that fight could of went either way, and Brook simply took a beating from Golovkin.

Spence beat Bundu down, while Brook preferred Bundu left overs. Algieri and Bundu were better than, Ion, Gavin and Bizier.

We'll see what happens when they fight, I don't disagree that Spence is untested.

Brook didn't show granite when Fedchenko smacked him upside the head and made him do the stanky leg. I agree he showed a chin against Golovkin, but he also wasn't making 147 for the fight. He gets stopped by Spence if they fight for that belt.
