Because he'd usually have another 8lbs to lose, he never looks insanely lean at 147. I'v seen him saying he walks around in the late 150's.. Think about it, he weighed 158lbs fight night v canelo. If you 'eat up' you cannot put 3 more lbs on over night. The reason he added weight over night was because he came down to 155lbs. Just like brook, he came down to 160 and fight night he was heavier.

I had the feeling that most people thought Provodnikov was robbed.

Yeah I watched it. I thought Porter edged it out. Bundu was 41, but Bundu beat Gavin. Brook likes Euro and regional level left overs it seems like. Then when Spence is the mandatory, it's oh, I feel like I might move to 154. Brook's arse wasn't talking any of that nonsense when the mandatory was Ion, Gavin or that bum Bizier.

Did you not hear how happy brook was when he moved to 160 not having to kill himself to make weight. The GGG opened up doors and eyes. He now has a reason to move up as it wouldn't take long to get a title shot.

If it was Spence for example at 147 or cotto at 154. It has to be cotto.

Two things wrong with that. Brook, wouldn't beat Lara, Charlo, Andrade, or Williams. He'd lose a decision against Canelo, but he would be paid good money. Two, Hearn already said Cotto refused to fight Brook. Lastly, the only thing a move to 154 would do for Brook is give him a couple more fights against scrubs to make some money before he took the inevitable L. He'd move up and probably fight Liam Smith, or some other Euro level 154 pounder, and avoid and young American talent like he is trying to avoid Spence right now. Spence by the way just recently said he would have no issue fighting Brook in the U.K.

Oh I agree, Spence completely battered the pair of them but Spence hasn't been in with anything better than them, all I am saying is we haven't seen Spence in with Porter and I don't think Spence would jump two weights to fight Golovkin.

I don't want anybody to misunderstand me, I actually like Spence Jr.

I hope it happens and I've said on here a few times Brook should fight his mandatory, I want to see it and may the best man win.

Yeahh the Russian dude won that fight on my scorecard too.
Damn that was a long time ago.
Malignaggi that night was arguing Algeiri dominated . NOPE.
Paulie is my man but I stopped istening to him a long time ago when it comes to scoring a fight. He's too biased towards the Boxer and always scores the fight in their favor.

Bundu beat Gavin on a split decision. So if you want to give a fighter credit for beating Bundu you have to give credit to a fighter for beating Gavin.

You can't eat your cake and have it.

If brook was to move up though, with the UK PPV behind him and given his opponent choices are the right fight at the right time he can become the money fighter in the division

&all that seperated them on the scorecards was the knockdown right? So basically spences best win was against bundu who got a razor thin decision against an opponent brook is slated for fighting.. Teddy atlas having errol spence in his top 10 p4p has to be some kind of joke.. he can become a great but come on he has not fought anybody

Not that i'm aware of, I remember him saying when speaking about the fight it won't do very well on PPV but he has to deliver big PPV fights to kell brook.

it was a long time ago, just after GGG fight, I could be wrong. a big PPV fight isn't Spence though, think he meant he has to try get the canelo, pacquaio, khan, Cotto type of fights, not someone like Spence and just sticking it on PPV for the sake of it

Thing is though if he can only bid using the regular sky tv fee i can't see him winning.

“Pay Per View fights only for Kell Brook, that’s all he wants. So I have got to deliver them. And if I cannot deliver them, who knows?”

He said this on december 6th.. knowing errol was mandatory. I think this will be on ppv, it will give eddie the power to put a bigger bid in, kell earns 75% of that and he'l go with it in may.

he may just go deeper into his pockets to make sure he gets the fight over here, coz he thinks they wont come for 25% in a tough fight away from home...all conjecture though tbf

yeah but i don't think that means Spence is a PPV fight just because Brook wants PPV fights or that he intends on putting it on PPV. plus he could've meant PPV fight in terms of stature....again all conjecture, who knows what Hearn really means half the time
