He hasn't grasped that playing in America, he is playing in the big boy promoter leagues, Hearn is small fry, this isn't the Uk where is by miles the biggest promoter with Warren in 2nd

Wilder's manager Shelly Finkel has said on WBN they are definitely fighting Ortiz next and after that Fury and will not scrap the Ortiz fight.

My thoughts: Yeah kind of disappointing but that's how it goes. If we are idealistic Wilder and Fury should have rematched immediately since neither Wilder-Breazeale nor Fury-Schwartz were competitive fights that will be remembered.

Fair point, but a PPV star? Hearn has had to fill the event with all his best cannon fodder to sell this one (& against Gorman Dubois, I think he ll struggle) This cards become a whos who of heavyweight has beens, & if Whytes not careful, he ll end up the same way as Chisora and Price, there to make numbers up. He needs a belt - or at least a valiant attempt to win one - to have any credibility as a ‘PPV Star’

Whyte Parker done 474k and Whyte Chisora 2 done 438k, people are buying so he’s a PPV star until proven otherwise isn’t he? That’s how it works.

I hate PPV & take no notice of the viewing figures / sales. If you say those figures mean he’s a PPV star - then maybe he is. I just don’t understand how someone who has never even challenged for a title can be the main event of any PPV. A broken record, but if fans stopped for a moment and realised what they were paying for - it wouldn’t happen. Unfortunately, after a few beers on a Saturday night, maybe it’s hard to resist the hype.

Not saying what you’ve said is wrong but that’s how it works. A PPV star is defined by his worth and the buys he can draw. Whyte against Rivas will show his absolute worth because although he’s a great fighter, nobody knows who Rivas is and the undercard is poor.

I personally wouldn’t even dream of paying a penny for it but I’m not a dillian Whyte fan and maybe he has loads out there, let’s see.

Don't we all hope Hearn is right on this one?

Spot on, & with the Gorman Dubois so close, & arguably a much better card, more fans likely to resist the red button for this one.
