Right, so why would Hearn pit his new signing against his cash cow when it would be more than just a step up for him?

He's had 17 fights and I'd argue despite being a poor resume and somehow managing a title he still has a better resume than any other heavy weight did after 18 fights, past and present, and he's blitzed them all.

He's a money making machine and will be managed accordingly, this is a clever step up based on who is available or rather who isn't. Wilder the champ fought this guy in his 34th, Joshua is going to obliterate him in more impressive fashion in his 18th before fights against top opponents next year.

im sure there is another post the same as this. also repling to your own post and forgetting to change accounts. v embarrassing.
however joshua and his team were planning and gunning for the klit fight, thats a big fight, probably the biggest fight available in boxing. it didn't happen, so they have to look elsewhere. they wont take someone who has a poor resume, who isn't popular/ a draw or someone not ranked. molina is probably the best they could get right now. also 18th fight compared to wilders 30 odd.
some brain dead people on here seriosuly

Molina's 2nd title shot within 16 months. The division is truly a mess.

You actually believe the fight was going to go ahead prior Wlads fake injury, which was only raised because he had no opponent worth the name and did not want to rip off his fans?

No, he's obviously not going to do that.
    But why not?
That's exactly what promoters are supposed to do. The thing that holds fights up the most is fighters being contracted to different promotional outfits (and their broadcasters), so when they are attached to the same promoter it ought to be easy.
When Don King controlled the heavyweights back in the 1980s he matched them against each other.

I think you'd be shocked to discover what goes on behind the scenes, in boxing or any other big business.

My Mum is rank ugly, so I wouldn't be making that public knowledge if I was you.

Oh and say "Hello" for me and tell her I'll visit her soon.
