Eddie Hearn has confirmed that Ricky Burns has had a major operation and may never fight again.

Seemingly the break is in bad place, and titanium plate causes problems for future medical scans?

All due respect for Burns for fighting through his injury. Being honest, though, Beltran beat the living sh*t out of him.

That's his trainers fault for not pulling him out. Money was more important than his health.

Karma has a way of working.

Regardless of the decision that is bad news for boxing. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

another little girl and monday morning quarterback
if everyone quit a fight because they were taking an ass kicking , we would never have any come from behind comebacks or give and take slug fests.... no one that holds a belt is gonna quit on their stool or corner stop it if they are being remotely competitive....theres always a chance to win...

  12. Well that sucks. Props to Burns fighting through that.

Beltran doesn't play dat **** :deal
