    Taylor and Guerrero are Haymon.

Has he developed a star fighter though? Cintron and Malignaggi have just picked up belts. And Paulie was pretty scathing about Lou when he left him.

I agree with you about DiBella's comments towards Martinez. He obviously wants what's best for his fighter but he doesn't realise the hypocrisy there. He doesn't seem to accept that, despite the world titles, Martinez is not a draw and therefore can't demand big money. That's a criticism but it doesn't mean he's a bad person, unlike some others.

Personally, I thought Edwin Rodriguez won most rounds against Rosinsky and that scorecard wasn't corrupt, I don't think. If someone scored it in favour of Rosinsky, I wouldn't have really cared because it was that type of fight. Every round was close and I gave Rodriguez almost all of those rounds but if people thought it was a draw or even if Rosinsky won, that's fine, so I didn't have an issue with the card. Was 100-90 unfair on Rosinsky? Yeah, it was because every round was tight, but if one fighter wins every one of those tight rounds, a shut out is harsh but it might be fair.

As for Taylor, he's shot. How else could he be promoted? He got knocked down and narrowly beat Caleb Truax, whoever he is. Taylor is in no position for any better matchmaking.
Hatton could run a show in Bury for Quigg and show it online, or he arrange a deal with Primetime or try to negotiate with BoxNation. He could ask Hearn to put Quigg on his shows, as Hearn has done previously, or any number of things. The fact is, he didn't do that and therefore, he's let Quigg down. Coldwell can get by without a TV deal, so Hatton did have options without Sky.

Oh right, thanks for speaking on behalf of all the boxing fans around the world! But It's not the point anyway.

And ok, If all boxing fans arent interested in the fight then they are now going to have to pay 15 quid for it right.

If he has put the exact same bill on then it would make sense.

If your going buy your logic, Kessler v Froch is much better this time. It's in HD and the undercard, as **** as it is, is 1000x better than what we got in Denmark last time out.

Taylor wasn't with Haymon in the early days. and your point was he has not built an attraction from scratch....which he has.

I still agree with the rest of your point. Except the Hatton stuff. He has Sky TV backing and didn't deliver.

If Taylor's shot and Lou is this upstanding guy he should refuse to have anything to do with this. Why's he looking to get a shot fighter a world title fight. One in which Taylor could suffer some serious damage?

And it's easier for Coldwell to do stuff off TV than it is for Hatton. Quigg has some form of a world title, to pay Quigg and his opponent would cost a lot more than whatever it costs Dave to put on a show.

And maybe Ricky's tried a lot of these things and it hasn't worked out? We don't exactly what negotiations have been had and who with.

That would be shocking, hope not. Would have thought Quillin would be the guy they'd target for Taylor.

Its a wonder "Sogoplayboy" aint in here throwing a hissy fit because you lot aint squeezing every mortal thing into one twatter sentence.

I guess those people who add that bit more are just being serious and talking like adults. For once.

For what its worth, I actually think it is dangerous to nail your colours to the mast regarding promoters. Because they are all the same anyway, I can understand supporting fighters, even though I dont anymore, but supporting promoters is a weird old thing. You could be washing your clothes every week playing in that game. The sport changes so much. Frank is right in a sense, its funny how things happen in the world of boxing.

One minute you cant wait to get away and join the flavor of the month party, and then the next you cant wait to get back to your old home.

Thats why its dangerous for fans (fans especially) to label themselves as fans of individual promoters and against others. What have you got to get out of it? Absolutely nothing. For all you know they could be royally screwing your favorite fighter over!

Thats why I believe as a fan/supporter, you are best just wanting the best fights possible and leaving it at that. Encourage the promoters to make the best fights by all means, but the moment you start crossing the line of supporting promoters and hating others, is the moment you start setting yourself up for a fall.

Want the best fights by all means, but be careful with the promoters. They are in it to make £, and not just make it, but make it out of YOU the fan.

    Remember that.

Nah, maybe I'm not explaining it very well!

I would pay for the Froch/Kessler fight regardless of the undercard, I just don't think the Bellew fight should be on this show. Stick on another one that's not a PPV.

Another way to look at it is if people are going to pay PPV for the Froch fight anyway, stick it on the undercard and it stops it being a main event on a normal show using up a valuable TV date.

The first fight was dire regardless.

Yeah I thought that, but couldn't it be a main/co main event on another show?

Maybe I just enjoy a good British affair than other stuff, but he's building a good more fighters in his stable, so like Burns, Bellew and I didn't mean co-main event with Burns. lol

Co event could work but unless the other co main event is a really good fight it will struggle to sell as nobody really wants to see the Bellew/Chilemba rematch, then it comes down to money as much as I hate saying it.

    It's a catch 22?

    It is really! :good

I actually think the Bellew/Chilemba re-match will be a much better fight.

Bellew v Chilemba would not sell out the Olympia now let alone the Echo. Bellews stock is extremely low and he would only be able to main event in a world title fight.
