I don't know. I will be watching on HBO or at a Bar after the champs league final.

But does 3pounds honestly alter your decision?

Honestly no, but i will be a moody ******* if the fight turns out to be ****. Oh and good points made to Hearn on twitter. I disagree with you though, this fight is PPV worthy and would not have happened without it due to kessler's financial demands.

He's been a bit more of a slow burner than was anticipated probably but he hasn't been a total failure by any stretch of the imagination. He's almost got himself into a mandatory position which is probably going to be the route for most fighters through Sky/Matchroom given they cant just thow money at fighters to skip a few runs up the ladder. In my eyes its a better route, we get to see a few different names along the way and it will keep these guys honest and active on their way up.

Also from Eddies point of view Bellew probably looked a good signing for a few reasons.
    > Was a massive two fingers up to the previous employer
    > He has a cult following due to his use of forums and social media to interact with boxing fans
    > He has a hometown following to boot
    > He's a fiery character who could generate press interest
    > He doesnt mind if a fight decends into a bit of a scrap

Now not all of those things continued to be the case, but he has still provided credible support on fight cards as well as headlining his own show. People may say it wasnt a good show but not many would disagree that there was no qualms with the idea that Bomber being the headline of that show was merited given the importance of the bout.

On top of that he was ready to go in at the upper end of fight cards which at the time Eddie didnt have many fighters fit and in the same position. Now he has a wave of them coming to or at that level.

Kessler could have made that money fighting in Denmark. Hearn had to pay over the odds to get him over and give home advantage to froch. And Froch doesn't bring in enough to cover his own bills too.

I think you are over estimating what Kessler was earning for each fight.

You seem to have read a helluva lot into my one line post:lol:

So you think he deserves his premium spot alongside Froch in the Sky ads. That is the point you are making yes?

I think your reading into this a bit to much. They probably chose those fighters based on other factors. Pretty sure Barker & Frampton also have ads.

If they do have ads for Dazza and Frampton, I haven't seen them. Bellew, Froch and Brook are played continually.

It's obviously very memorable if it exists...
