Yeah i sort of bit on that one liner haha.

Seen a lot of stick toward Bellew just wanted to give a viewpoint as to why he was a reasonable signing for Matchroom at that point in time.

Like has been said since I think matchroom/sky basically use the betfair ads for profile on their headline and chief support fighters

Well the big difference is he knows he cant really have another stinker so he knows he needs to be more aggressive, which in theory should make for a better fight.

The thing with Bellew/Chilemba is it doesn't matter a jot whether people want to see it or not, they'll definitely want to see a potential world title fight involving Bellew. Chilemba is in the way of that, that's all there is to it. Stinker or not, it has to get done.

Don't agree with the OP at all, think he's done well.

Have to agree re. Bellew/Chilemba the fight just needed to be made. He was supposed to win the first time then fight for a title, it didn't happen, now it needs to for Bellew to move on. Obviously I'd rather see a different fight after the first non event but I get why this needs to be done and I'm confident it'll be a better fight second time around (certainly couldn't have got worse)!

****** knows the sport, knows it well.

Hearns is a pretender, hopefully he doesn't kill off the sport before ****** gets back to the top.

Expect mixed boxing MMA cards from Hearn.

Hearn has been, overall, a failure so far. Sky Boxing are failing and in decline, clearly. Boxnation are the only hope left, and you just need to take a look at the schedule to see they are delivering time and time again.

Its a marathon in this game, not a sprint ;)

The likes of Ricky Burns will find that out soon enough.

I totally agree, its just a shame that the one area they ignore is the one area I have most interest in for obvious reasons.

  14. Boxnation has **** coverage of UK bouts and Hearn has failed to deliver with his focus on cartoon boxing

All boxing fans should take the time to complain to Sky letting them know that Hearn can stick his PPV up his ass along with shytefighter.

We want a multi promoter deal with the return of Friday Fightnight

  15. Great post from bungle85 on a number of points including why matchroom use the mandatory route and the interesting fights it can bring up

Barker isn't on any betfair advert I've ever seen
It is froch, brook and bellew and that is clearly because he saw them as major players pre groves and burns era
