Will be great for fans if he can put on 30 shows a year, 2-3 shows a month.

The takeover of British boxing by Fast Eddie will be complete in a few months, not bad for a guy who's only been promoting less then 2 years.

Sky better offer him more dates!

Be awesome if he signed A. Joshua and he fought on half the dates, 15 times a yr....back to the old school way of making champs.

Its the ideal scenario for fans, bearing in mind August is the off season in Boxing 30 weeks out of 48 would be amazing.

If Sky give him the go ahead there will be a lot of happy fighters.

More boxing on Sky would be ideal but only if he has the quantity and quality to provide interesting cards every time. They don't all have to be World title bills or Eliminators but one's like the Frampton/Martinez bill would be more than acceptable. IF bills like Saturday night became the norm by increasing the dates he gets, I'd rather it didn't happen.

Either way it's an interesting time in British boxing at the moment.

I think you would see 24 regular Saturday shows and 6 Prizefighters move to weeknights. Thats a saturday show every fortnight.

That's the ideal scenario surely? Everyone is happy with that arrangement. Prospects still get a run out once a month if there is a show every 2 weeks. Ample opportunity for everyone to be show live as well. Also fan wise you can start taking it round the country now. Liverpool/Manchester/Nottingham/London/Glasgow/Belfast will all get regular shows. Couldn't of asked for better news really.

I agree with the notion that the Frampton/Martinez card has to be a benchmark for quality here and fights in the mould of Purdy/Jones should be put on in an undercard slot.

If the idea of showing full cards comes off as well then we're in for a treat, a generation of fans can now follow many future stars from their very early fights rather than just when they get to headline status.

The problem with the Barker card on Saturday was that there was about 4 decent-good fights on the card and only 2 of them were shown! So the idea of showing the whole event is excellent.

If these signings come off though he will need the dates to keep up the quality and development of full stable. Full card needs to be available live, preferably by the red button. That way the people who see the likes of Kal Yafai, Scotty Cardle and Stalker etc can follow there full career. Reallt excited with this news
