You don't know what you're talking about so you best shut your mouth.

My apologies Matt, that was a rude and unprofessional way to handle your comment. However, what I said was not arrogant, and was not meant to be condescending. I was completely serious about what I said.

George Chuvalo did not beat Muhammad Ali on March 29 1966, Ali beat him by unanimous decision to retain his title, Ali again beat Chuvalo on May 1 1972 by unanimous decision. I am not qualified by any commission to judge or referee. a fight but Ali did appear to win both.

Eddie Machen was not too far gone in 1965, he had Ernie Terrell hurt in round 15 of their WBA Title fight on March 5 1965. The crowd booed the decision that was given to Ernie, good contest. Also Eddie beat a green Jerry Quarry on July 14 1966 by decision.

So far I have told at least 4 people that I got distracted and wrote that nonsense.

I don't think Machen was too far gone that he couldn't beat someone as good as Quarry once and a while and also hurt Terrell, but he was not the same guy who fought Liston and Billy Hunter years earlier and looked so impressive.

Phew! is right. When I first saw that "he still clearly beat Ali" I was like: "What? what creep wrote that?" ha ha

Very true but Eddie could be very dangerous, he had experience on his side.

I agree. The Terrell and Frazier fights are good examples of that. I thought Machen was clearly losing both contests, but then had good rounds like Terrell-15 and Frazier-8. The Frazier fight is extremely one-sided, but one of my favorite fights actually. I find it interesting that you call Terrell-Machen a good contest.

I do apologize, my mistake. I did not catch what you had rephrased.
