    This. I think I get why William mentioned the Donald ring fight. Machen against Bowe might not have been too dissimilar.

    He's right. Machen and Donald, both at their best, were hit-and-run fighters. I would say that Machen was a bit more unorthodox and unpredictable and overall very-well rounded. Plus Machen could punch, Donald couldn't imo.
