Wow.. this is awesome news for Zab Judah fans, Eddie Mustafa is one of the very best trainers in the world.

I have no doubts Zab can make some noise in the 140lbs' with EMM in his corner. :scaredas:

This move here is long over due...Yoel Judah is a **** poor trainer who should never be allowed to train again...What the hell is " bing pow...hit some more with bing pow" :huh

I think this is a good move but a little to late...I guess we'll have to see what happens!

I for one am looking forward to seeing Zab Judah sparring at Johnny Tocco's. :happy
Yes, Yoel Judah may even be on a worse streak than Buddy McGirt, and that tells a lot.

Good move to a great trainer, but it may not make much of a difference now.

Bout 10 years too late for Zab to make this move.

To be fair Buddy has been in bad situations too such as being in the corner for Gatti in Gatti/Mayweather. To add to that, he's always saying,"Drink some water" like he's some spokeperson for Dasani. Yoel, well he's always always using onomatopoeia like it's some secret code that his fighters are suppose to know.

I am glad Zab made the move. I am sad it is 5-10 years too late. Damn.

Zab is still my main man! Supa Judah!

Good luck, Eddie. A champion rarely comes back to do anything after they've lost four title fights in a row.

I like Buddy too as a fighter and like watching Zab fight. I don't know if he'll bring back the success he had in 2005 but with Eddie, things should be better for him. I mean look at what Eddie's been doing with Dawson he's a great trainer.

It can't hurt! Zab is a talented guy...."Super" is a good name for him, but he lacks the commitment and dedication to his craft that guys like Manny and Floyd embrace. Zab could have been better than Floyd or Manny. He was definitely faster in his prime than either guy and even now is faster. His reflexes are still operating on a very high level. It's his mental foundation that's weak. Maybe this partnership and his older age will allow for Zab to re-capture what he should have held on to with some consistancy. Zab is one of the very best when he's completely prepared and fully focused. I'm just not sure if anyone has ever seen that Zab since turning pro.

    I'm happy about this.

Zab's problems have been well documented through the years - his actual boxing ability has rarely been brought in to question however. Eddie Mustafa is a top, top trainer -if anyone can strip Zab back to a blank canvas, and rebuild him, I think it might just be Eddie. Zab is also still young enough to come back, and someone with the ability that he has, and who is aware that they are in the last chance saloon can be a vary dangerous opponent. I really hope Zab commits himself to Eddie's training - if he does, I think he might just surprise a lot of people.
