Maybe skill wise Eddie edged it, but I feel like Williams edges in other attributes such as physical strength, punching power, chin, size, stamina and inside fighting skills. I might be biased tho, Williams is one of the few fighters who which many see him decent, but I see him as a high quality fighter who has what it takes to be champion.

I'll probably gonna a highlight reel of him soon so we can discuss his overall abilities as a fighter.

Mustafa clearly hits harder than Williams.

I find them quite equal to punching power but Mustafa is a more committed puncher. Williams is a more wore down fighter who has the ability to out work his opponent. Marvin Johnson even quoted that his jab was "destructive", here's the quote:

"He had a very destructive and damaging jab that he used quite often. Even though I was able to adapt, I had difficulty maneuvering around it."

Henry Maske also quoted him as the physically most strongest fighter and the best puncher he's ever faced. Here's the quote:

    BEST PUNCHER
    Williams:
He had a very hard straight right hand, as well as a short uppercut to the chin. (Also) I only know him from sparring, but, in 2007, during my preparation for Virgil, Glencoffe Johnson, massaged my ribs. It was not easy to cope with.

Find some at the time articles on Mustafa. Guy was a huge puncher but not overly aggressive. More than one mag rated him the best puncher at 175 for a year or two.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I don't remember those rounds well enough and I'm loathed to rescore it (didn't enjoy it) but quite willing to accept I may have misjudged it. I remember feeling like it was a fight I should watch, so maybe my scoring reflected my indifference to what I was watching!

Maybe mate to each their own. I was just a bit surprised as normally your cards are right around the norm which is a good thing of course.
