Punishing fight. I don't like the way Kessler responded to Calzaghes body shots and EMM hits downstairs a lot harder. Late rounds stoppage after building up a clear lead.

Muhammad would have won. Btw what do you guys think of him as a fighter? I've seen some clips of him but haven't studied him too much. Some say he didn't live up to his potential. Was he skillful or just a tough fighter?

He was a beast when he was "on" and not being lazy. In other words, whenever he actually let his hands go.

He was an excellent counter puncher, with quick hands, a good defense and chin, and devestating power in his right hand.

If he was dedicated in the gym, he could have been a top 10 all time light heavy.

I think Mustafa would have hurt Kessler downstairs...KO8.

If Eddie's inspired, like was vs M. Johnson, he stops Kessler in about 8 or 9. He would have brokem MK's body and spirit.

Eddie had the potential to be either the best or second best fighter of his era. He had just about all a fighter could want as far as ability goes. he just didn't have the drive to be the best.
