You clearly weren't at Hearn's hull show then. It was a joke.

True. They tried IIRC to hijack Kovalev's HBO deal which was muted. They saw it as a chance to nip in and Lacy him. Ballsy and probably very stupid as Cleverly may never be the same again after that defeat but TBF he had to step up at some point.

I think they severely underestimated what Kovalev was about and he was cheap to bring over from what i've heard and Cleverly demanded him.

To Frank's credit he did as his fighter wanted. Cleverly knew it was a tough fight and he knew it was even tougher when he got hit .

Ever heard the term due diligence?

Franks lost his stable and Dereck Chisora yes Dereck Chisora is now one of ****** Promotions main attractions :good

The reason he lost his stable (Burns, Bellew, Mitchell, Smith's, Groves, De Gale, Macklin, Brook, Khan ……………. and so on) is because he cannot secure fights, not even big fights just fights!

He is Britain's flag ship boxing promoter, thats what he has to do with it!

And tell me what kind of big fights has Eddie Hearn delivered for his fighters. His cards are littered with pointless one sided affairs pitting his fighters with journeymen, you may see one 50/50 fight on an Eddie Hearn card if your lucky. He also has a habit of sending lads abroad to fight for world titles, lambs to the slaughter if you will, when's he gonna deliver a big world title for one of his fighters at home.Im not a Hearn fan at all I think the man is full of **** and is pulling the wool over a lot of peoples eyes with these ridiculously bad cards, its a disgrace.

scott quigg? carl froch (v bute) the guy got audley a title shot lol.. barker.. ok it wasn't uk but it was neutral.. i do agree though, the cards are littered with too many one sided fights but... with all the youngsters he has it's going to be that way... think about it in maybe 2 years... they'l be developed and in big fights... all at a similar time.

Lee Purdy and Rees would never have had title shots without Hearn, he has done pretty well for Froch too. Its the undercards that are weak.

Lambs to the slaughter you may think but ask the fighters what they thought when Eddie told them 'we have you a world title shot'

Yeah, feeding your stable's biggest attraction to a succession of bums before putting him in the ring with the best in the division was brilliant promoting.

Cleverly has said himself it was hard to believe they'd do that.

Froch was well established on the world scene and already world champion before he went to Hearn so any card hes on really sells itself. The title Scott Quigg holds is not a legitimate world title,Guillermo Rigondeaux is the real WBA champion, also Quigg did not win that title outright it was handed to him after he beat Rendall Munroe who had just come out of retirement.Barker had to go to Atlantic City twice to try and win a world title,he did very very well to pull it off in the end but that was no thanks to Hearn who then went and sent him to Germany to fight Sturm instead of giving him an easy home fight first.

Kell Brook is a perfect example,Eddie Hearn cannot for the life of him deliver Kell a world title shot in Sheffield.Kell will have to do exactly what Barker did and fly to America to fight Shawn Porter with the deck stacked against him.

Besides Groves v Froch and Froch v Kessler what has Eddie hearn done this year besides sending Bellew,Barker and Reese abroad to get beaten up,because lets get things straight even though Barker won that was exactly what was supposed to have happened.

    Absolutely nothing!!!

Cleverly called for the fight because he was under fire for fighting bums,Frank delivered.

I respect Frank for what he did there,it was sink or ****ing swim time for Nathan Cleverly.

Purdy came in at 4 weeks notice for the Alexander fight and almost had to kill himself to make weight by sitting in saunas, the whole situation was an absolute disgrace Hearn should never have let Lee fight.

    and

Gavin Rees wasnt getting a title shot he was getting a chance to be a lamb to the slaughter,it was right place right time.Golden Boy were looking for someone for Adrien Broner to beat up and Gavin Rees was the perfect candidate,it had nothing to do with Hearn being a good promotor.

Purdy took the opportunity-it wasnt forced on him. Hearn said himself it was there if he wanted but understood what ir meant for Purdy in temrs of prep but said Lee jumped at the chance-what more do you want Hearn to do, he delivered a world title shot.

I do maintain his undercards are very poor but has done his job on other parts
Same with Rees in that he did his job as a promoter. Goldenboy could have got a fighter from anywhere, but Hearn made sure his fighter was on that bill.

You dont like Hearn, fair enough but thanks in some part to him he delivered 2 world shots they possibly wouldnt have got elsewhere. As for your comments on him wanting Barker to lose...listen to how he thinks of Barker. Barker didnt want an easy fight he wanted a payday, he got it.

Listen to Kugan's recent interview with Nathan and you'd realise that what you've just wrote is a load of ****.

It's just as well he did given what happened in the fight you ****ing cretin.

He got the biggest pay day of his life and will probably now have to retire.

What would you have preferred, a defence at home for much less money and the injury to occur?

The whole thing was a disgrace. Lee Purdy had no business whatsoever fighting Alexander and he only got the shot because Brook pulled out again, but to say Purdy got it because Dreamweaver Hearn waved his magic wand about is a load of nonsense. The IBF should never had allowed it to happen in the first place.
