Check out this vid at the 5:03 mark. I never knew it existed. This was the fight where Orsolics - who already had a signed contract to meet Jose Napoles for the welterweight title - decided to take on another opponent before the Napoles fight. And who did they choose? Eddie Perkins of all people. I knew the result but i never knew it was a 1-punch KO. Oh, man, it reminded me of some of those old cartoons with the birds flying around the victim's head. BTW, there was a clause in the contract stating Napoles had a 48-four right of refusal if Orsolics got KO'd or looked bad, and he exercised that right. Also of note, Perkins didn't get the title shot either.

I have had this for many years. The poor guy in the “dubonnet” shorts is Jean Josselin.

I will say one thing for Orsolics, and that was that he was one big dude. He just looked so much bigger and more robust than any of his opponents here. Hard to believe he was 147. And was he 140 against Arcari?
