Still a horrible little bas. Great left hand, and knows all the wee tricks.

Ryu boxed himself to a standstill a bit though, should've busted out the Hadouken.

I believe Perkins lost a disputed decision to JOSE NAPOLES.

    No that can't be right.

"insert subtle homoerotic references to unparalleled buttery smoothness"

Dude kicked everyone's asses in their backyards and got the the short end of it consistently.

One of those fighters that could potentially fly up the rankings if we get a few of his bigger fights on film and see them for what they really are.

I remember that conversation. I believe he was trying to talk up Armando Muniz. I pointed out that a very old and well past his best Perkins beat Muniz by way of saying Muniz wasnt all that great (which I stand by). He, or someone else was questioning how I could say that and I pointed out that I have a lot of footage of Perkins from the time he was nothing more than a prospect to the time in question and beyond and while he retained a lot of his boxing smarts and skills there was a marked decline especially by the time he fought Muniz, which was only about a year or two before he retired.

    Cheers Klompton.

Muniz was a good, world level fighter IMO. Nothing great, but gave very good fights to the best in the division, including Napoles, who obviously did not age as well as Perkins due to his lackadaisical approach the more title defences he racked up.
