As you probably know, Eddie Perkins was inducted into the HOF this year, and I just wanted to know if any of you had seen one of his fights. He went 1-1-1 with Dulio Loi, and apparently was pretty slick. Just a little bit curious if you've seen him fight.
I've seen him fight, he is a very underrated fighter and would give many fighters fits, as well as losses. I can't find any videos of him at the moment though.
No, I don't have any links. He was just inducted this year and I got his autograph, and was just curious. He was a happy old man, although he is very ill and only has about 4 teeth left. Very nice wife and daughter though.
I saw him on TV once I believe. Some of the old boxing magazines commented on the "poor" decision, of Perkins vs Napoles.....but as we have discussed, the mags took 6 weeks to get to the newstands...and by then the controversy had passed.
I have only seen small clips of his fights against Johan Orsolics and Carl Hubbard. Never seen any of his title fights. Woller
