Why?

He only has one SBW and he won't feed Quigg to rigo.

Quigg will stay at sb win or lose imo, eddie really wants mcdonnel to move up and fight scott in a couple of fights time

 

Rigo would be a very hard sell. He doesn't have a fan-friendly style, he can't speak English, the television networks in the US have given up on him and nobody with half a reputation wants to fight him. Sad to see such an elite level boxer begging guys to fight him, should be the other way round really.

 

I think FW had some negotiations, but he was asking for too much money. So maybe not so willing to take "peanuts".

True a Cuban that doesn't speak English with a defensive style doesn't help as well.

 

Doesn't fit Eddie's mantra, won't appeal to the casuals.

FW would be better placed to bring him in if he could agree numbers, would do wonders for BoxNation subscriptions.

 

It would be great if SOMEONE who could do something for him would sign. He cant have long left, and he has literally been left to waste away him prime - such a shame.....

 

It would do sweet FA as has been said before, zero commercial appeal and he seemingly has the belief that he is worth way more than anyone else is willing to offer based on his ability when that isn't always the case in boxing

 

I don't think you would be able to sell him in the UK, top class fighters but I don't think people will take well to his style of fighting and the fact that he doesn't speak English makes him basically unmarketable over here unless he is the opposition and not the fighter that people are rooting for.
