Eddie "The Animal" Lopez vs Manuel Ramos

Fringe heavyweight contenders with decent power.

Lopez beat Leon Spinks, and Ramos lost to Joe Frazier in a 2-round
    shootout.

Proposed fight at the LA Olympic.....with cervezas being consumed
and hot senoritas w/ ta-tas exposed.... flitting all around.

I'd go with Lopez. While neither man ever truly beat a high quality fighter, Eddie was at least durable and didn't lose to mediocrities. Ramos got beat by fighters of all levels.

Magoo's assessment seems reasonable. A sloppy ten-round draw is a possibility, too.

Frazier said that the right hand that Ramos hit him with in the 1st round of their 2 round blow-out was the hardest punch he was ever hit with (at that time)...which of course was a crock of ****, since I recall Oscar Bonavena bouncing him off the canvas twice. A case of "the guy who couldn't deck me hit harder than the guy who floored me" syndrome that fighters often suffer from.
I think Lopez would pressure Ramos relentlessly until the ref stops it in 8...."The Animal" was made of sterner stuff that Ramos...far too rugged, I believe.
