I hope. It does come to the UK, Sky need a kick up the arse cause there near monopoly for decades has them ultra greedy and complacent. Also seeing Rupert ***** Murdoch take a beat down before he coughs it would be nice too.

If I were Sky though, I'd be looking at how they can replicate this platform before they do get took over, I bet they've lost a bomb just of Netflix and streaming apps, the football basically keeps them afloat.

Rupert Murdoch hasn't been a majority shareholder @ sky for a very long time.

Football has always been sky's main priority. It is why they are prepared to pay the big bucks.

Sorry to disappoint you bud but sky are not going anywhere anytime soon.

I don't expect them to which is why I said I hope it does. They could lose boxing but whilst they have a grip on football then they will be fine.

Though when they have lost a lot of football in the past they have done well enough as their competitors have struggled to take the load on without instant profits.

Thing is they have never lost the premier League and that's the subscription driver. Ofcom rules dictated the premier league rights to be spread out and all other competitors have never been able to take the category A premier league rights and that's the biggest and majority of games.

Sky are very smart as they have all the sports for the summer when the footy ends. Cricket for example is a big sport to have.

Setanta actually tried to take sky on and started taking sports away from sky. Problem was they were over paying and just couldn't get the subscription numbers to pay for it all

Well they lost it to ITV years ago and nearly bankrupted them. Since then Setanta and BT have took spreads but don't seem. To make any huge waves in taking them down a peg.

Only thing is even Sky overpay for football now and have to spread the cost through everything else they do. You would think the bubble will burst one day but no signs so far.

If Francis is that good I actually think FW needs him on the case 24/7, did you see how many people were watching Yarde (Main Event) in the arena over the weekend?

It's a little embarrassing when there were more people in my living room than at the fight, so as much as that Francis offer sounds great I believe FW needs him.

I believe long term Edwina will run US things and the big events over here and Young Franklin will start promoting and sorting out the other UK stuff.

I believe he does quite a lot anyway, Eddie trusts him with a lot of stuff by the sounds of it.

Tbf that's because quite a lot of people were thrown out for fighting.

Sky will work with DAZN as seen in Germany and Italy.

Don't forget you have BT, Amazon, Facebook Live, ESPN, 11sport and DAZN all sniffing around EPL rights packages. Expect coalitions to be made during the next round of bidding.

Tony Bellew as his second in command when he retires would help Eddie a lot

Mmm I not sure it was only the hooligans that left. It got late and most people were done for the night. Does tell you one thing though, it was the undercard fighters who sold tickets for that show.

Remember Frank's O2 show also. When yarde fought the very small crowd had already left.

Only lost the football league to ITV. They have never lost the premier League

Have you watched the news recently sunshine ?
Murdoch is gone, he has no affiliation with Sky anymore as it was sold to Comcast.

Secondly, Sky renewed Preimer League rights in February until 2022. They aren’t going anywhere for another four years minimum. Given Sky also have American Firepower behind them, trust me, when i say they will still be alive and kicking in ten years time

You’d have to be an idiot to not realise subscription services are taking over. As someone else said BT, Amazon, Facebook Live, ESPN, 11sport and DAZN all sniffing around EPL rights packages.

It doesn’t matter if it’s Eddie Hearn fronting DAZN, Frank Warren or John Smith. It’s a fantastic idea in theory. But they’ve got to get the football rights if they move in to Europe. There’s no two ways about that or they fail.

With all their boxing content available I’d much rather have that over here than BT and/or Sky.
