Eubank Jnr vs Spike - It's on a PPV card and it is the EPITOME of a domestic dust-up!

    He is fleecing people.

People who are moaning about PPV's.... Here is an idea, don't buy them. I'm not even if the card was this:

    Brook v Khan
    Quigg v Frampton
    Joshua v Fury
    Gonzalez v Price Patel
    DeGale v Groves
    Froch v Golovkin

Why? Because like all PPV cards, I watch down the pub. And it's good because the landlord doesn't bother putting some **** band on when he has to pay for the boxing

For me this isn't just Eddie and Adam Smith doing this. Sky Sports as a whole are under pressure. BT Sport entered the market in the football space about 2 years ago. They've recently took the Champions League rights whilst making Sky pay big (about £5bn I think) for the Premier League rights.

Sky Sports aren't getting the revenue from football like they used to so they need to recoup from elsewhere.

True, but Boxing is so low down on their agenda (Football, F1... Boxing) that it shouldn't have to be PPV.

Tivket sales will pay half the wages. ...plus sponsors. .. (especially now its ppv) will pay the other half...I suspect total purses for the nihhy will total 1.5-1.8 million .With the boxers getting a small (very small) % of ppv buys....eddie and sky will profit of say 85% of the buys

I can only guess here, but my guess is that Eddie needs a way to keep his stable happy. This PPV is Christmas money for his own fighters without most of them having to take much of a risk.
