I wanna share that with you guys..... Spanish press itself was not unanimous on what to say about the result... Check it out : They complained about the knockdown that was not called by the referee.... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSvg2y-Qhh0[/ame] But you tell me...Did Eder touch the floor before the end of the round ???:think His knee touches the ground exatcly in the final second at best !! I don´t know if was really a knockdown, I can´t say accurately about that.. to be honest....you can see the time in the screen..... The spanish newspaper "Marca" published :" Legra could finish the fight in round 3, but in round 4 was overconfident and severely punished." And.....In the newspaper report one spanish commentator said that Eder really didn´t touch the floor as well..... The newspaper "AS" also said that "after the fourth round Legra declined too much." The spanish journalist Fernando Vadillo said that..... There were Spaniards who complained but I think is fair to say that even between them nobody called it a robbery..... From what I read, definitely a close fight though.....and the Spanish judge gave a draw..... sorry if the translation is not great.....this is the source:good: http://acervo.folha.com.br/resultados?q=eder+jofre+legra&site=&periodo=acervo
I have quite a lot of press reports from Spain on this fight. The Spaniards comentating said they felt Jofre won or at worst deserved a draw. Pedro Carassco is one of the commentators. It was a legit knockdown IMO.
