At their best in Bantamweight. How well do you think Jofre would have done against a defensive, counterpunching wizard like Lora? IMO I think Lora could have pose a stylistic problem for Jofre.

As fine a boxer as Lora was jofre was simply for me anyway the total package at bantam he could box had speed of foot and hand coupled with great reflexes and real ko power in both gloves :bbb

I love Lora, but Jofre has to be the pick here. Happy Lora punched with more authority than he gets credit for, especially with his knack for walking guys into unexpected punches.

But the most likely scenario is that Jofre starts cautiously and becomes more aggressive as he gets comfortable.

    Bump.
Jofre was indeed the complete package but Lora was a very talented pure boxer with matrix-like reflexes. I think this would have been a very close fight.

I’ve never been as bowled over by Lora as my fellow hipsters are.

Jofre would win a decision I imagine.

It would be an interesting fight early with a lot of smarts and Lora would take some rounds as Jofre finds a stranglehold on the fight then he’d pull away towards the middle rounds. Jofre is not the type to fall for repeated moves or too many counters and had a great brain. He’d use his usual smart aggression.

Jofre by a fairly wide decision.

Lora was a very good boxer but Jofre was the complete package. Too good.

Lora, like Locche, was best when fighting opponents who fell into the trap of getting frustrated because of the whole "He's right there, why can't I hit him?!?!?" aspect. Jofre was too smart to fall into that trap.
