At Bantamweight. Who wins this and how? This could be a very interesting, highly skilled battle between 2 complete fighters.
Jofre wins this one..a close fight but the Brazillian was the better fighter. Canizales was very good but Jofre was great.
Canizales footwork could bring some trouble, but I think Jofre was better in all the rest... More power, better fighter on the inside, I can see Jofre pressuring Canizales in the late rounds and stopping him.....
Technically i think Canizales has the tools to win the fight, but he'd need to show a drive and fire that i'm not sure he ever possessed.Maybe a bit too polite and boxer-ish.
Canizales is too available and wanted to be at range to throw those pretty combos, but that range is where the far more lethal Jofre does his thing. Can't see Canizales winning this.
Jofre is too good for Canizales. I'll go for a sapped Canizales to finish the fight on his feet but in full retreat. 9-3.
