Eder Jofre: Why does he rate so highly with a lot of you?

Harada obviously was trying for stoppage too hard in 1st Medel fight, it's not like everything turned upside down because of one punch or something. He had worn himself out by going all out and trying for a KO for several rounds, as far as I remember the fight.

 

Harada always came out like a bat out of hell, that wasn't something unique to the first Medel fight. If you watch his fights with Jofre or Kingpetch he does the same thing.

Harada got caught with some good pucnhes near the end of the third round but continued to put the pressure on until in a heated exhange in the 6th where he got tagged in combination and he never recovered. I don't think it was a case of Harada tiring out because he had already shown that he could punch at a high volume over 15 rounds. 5 and a half high volume rounds were not the cause of Harada's downfall here, it was Medel's punching power and Harada's all too eagreness to put the pressure on (i.e. he got careless). If anything he underestimated Medel's toughness and punching power.

 

Putting up a lot of pressure and going for a KO are somewhat different things. He clearly had his mind on the second thing for several rounds straight.
