I had it 4-1 Aldo... Aldo won easily. I find it funny that Frankie wins one round and he competes in a few more and everyone screams robbery! What a ****ing joke.. Everytime Frankie makes a fight close people claim he won.. Bull****! Let me tell you what Frankie is good at. When he fights an elite fighter, he is good at losing a close fight.. He's good at not getting his ass whooped!

No Aldo won clearly I like Edgar but Aldo won for sure even if Edgar won 1-2rounds

Aldo is clearly a more skilled/talented fighter. He just needs to work on his cardio. When he was fresh he was on another level to Frankie, who was unable to do anything. But then it's a 5 round fight, and stamina is a big part of the fight game.

I had Aldo winning the first 3.

edgar clear as day won round 3. It was his best round. Round 4 and 5 aldo was gassed and did nothing. Edgar won 3 to 2. I knew they were gonna screw him because they didnt show any edgar highlights. Edgar clearly outlanded him bad in 3 4 and 5.

I was drunk when I watched the fight, so I admittedly might need to rewatch it as I didn't keep a running scorecard. But Edgar didn't cause any damage that I recall. He was always responding to Aldo's movements, was unable to hold his ground, and was generally doing enough to be competitive without doing enough to win the round.

Aldo wasn't following him around aimlessly, he was pressing the action. He landed the best shot of the round (and the fight) in round 3, and he was never taken outside of his comfort zone.

Edgar didn't get blown out of the water, but he didn't control the tempo of the fight either. He buzzed around, tried to avoid Aldo's strikes, and landed several meaningless shots that didn't seem to affect Aldo at all. :conf

The 3rd round is what is causing the contention

There was no "clear winner" of that round - just check out the posts in here - its totally split

I seem to recall the 4th being Frankie's clearest and best round.

I don't recall Edgar landing any clean strikes that really got Aldo's attention or caused a reaction from me or my friends. Aldo's kick to the face certainly did.

I also don't recall Edgar taking ground away from Aldo, forcing him to move anywhere he didn't want to move.

I remember a lot of movement from Edgar, but not much constructive aggression. Not much in the way of making Aldo uncomfortable.

Like I said, I remember the round being competitive, but I remember at the time turning to my friend and saying "3-0 Aldo", and he responded "yep."

Though, again as I said, I was drunk and haven't rewatched the fight. :conf

    Sure man

Of course round 4 was Frankies best - R3 was contentious, round 5 was pretty close too

    R1 and 2 Aldo destroyed

What shocked me was how much bigger Aldo was in there. It looked like he was in a different weight class

Edgar won 4 and 5. 3 is arguable, I gave it to Aldo.

Edgars downfall is his lack of power. He will never ever win close fights unfortunately.
