As an early fan of GGG, I never envisioned a fight were GGG get stopped. Doing the cold-math suggests that if GGG ever gets stopped, Edgar Berlanga will do it. GGG frame will not keep him safe outside of Edgar Berlanga violence, an early KO1 stoppage, will be the best outcome to preserve GGG for other future fights.
Throughout history, boxers have entered tiers of punching power. Edgar Berlanga is Tier 1 punching power and GGG is only Tier 1.5 punching power. This is a biomechanics calculation. All the biomechanics calculations indicate Edgar Berlanga will KO2 GGG based on Tier 1 punching power.
How do you get the KO2 outcome? So far Edgar Berlanga only path to victory was KO1, past stats show that once the KO1 streak is broken, it either leads to a Loss (liquidation) Late TKO (compromise) Decision (moral loss) Edgar Berlanga should train for higher paced first rounds, and psychologically refuse to accept the idea of a fight longer than one round. The more he trains for KO1 the better he gets at it, land one +70% impact power shot has enough PSI to KO any boxer (regardless of class), so why will Edgar Berlanga take away his best advantage. The KO1 can be achieved vs Elite class as long as they are not rangy boxers who can keep Edgar Berlanga at Bay for the first round. 80% of top SMW are within range of Edgar Reach, they are also doubting that Berlanga can take them out with one shot, which makes them perfect KO1 victims. In Edgar class of punching, the more Edgar Berlanga is underrated, the more it plays into his cold-heavy hands. Most boxers don't come out throwing all their power shots in the first round, because they have 12 in mind. Going all out in Round 1 is a calculated risk, only a reckless uncompromising mind can take that risk. Despite his young age he already done it all and is very comfortable in the places where normal people can't survive. GGG is tough, because of training, Edgar Berlanga is an organic product of concentrated multi-source violence and lineal Alpha male breeding
Edgar Berlanga has perfect biomechanics for Tier 1 punching power. He is not like other Tier 1 punchers because he is not distracted. Naoya Inoue is entrapped by anime. Mike Tyson is hypnotized by cocaine. Gerald McClellan was worried about the weight cut. Thus going into Round 1 he will be perfectly focused to risk against his opponent GGG. Since GGG is only Tier 1.5 puncher and Berlanga is Tier 1 and 1.5/1=3/2 which rounds up to 2, Berlanga will KO2 GGG.
Ggg is old and should avoid fighting these dangerous fighters. And berlanga is a super middle. Ggg has no business there at this point in his career.
Bellew was liquidated in one round. Bellew is a solid boxer who had big plans in life (other than getting smoked in seconds by Edgar Berlanga) Why is Edgar the only man to stop Bellews, and KO1 nothing less. Bellews was as solid as they come
