From a competitive and action POV. Jermall Charlo can't beat Canelo, and most likely would lose a lopsided decision.

Let us not forget, Jermall, even though he's bat**** crazy, has never lost to an orthodox fighter, Sure, his wins over Trout and Korobov were bull****, but... they were both southpaws. If he shows up, with a full camp and his head in the game, he'll pose Canelo a hell of a lot more problems than his puny Light Middleweight brother. Sure, Canelo probably beats him, but at least there's a little intrigue there. Whereas Berlanga most likely gets knocked spark out and fairly early. Zero intrigue whatsoever, and neither are massive names or huge draws.

I get you, I have 5% interest in Canelo-Charlo, while I have 100% interest in Munguia-Berlanga. Plus it has that Mexico-Puerto Rico vibe to it and we know how those fights turn out.

Berlanga isn't ready for Morrell/Canelo or anyone at that level. He has a punchers chance, his problem is he is low volume, he looks hesitant in between combinations and has lapses. His jab is good, he's a powerful hitter but against those top guys they will counter and time him.

**** it, let's just do a round robin and we'll throw Morrell in there too.

I've wanted Diego Pacheco to be the one to end the Berlanga hype train.
