    Honestly they should've stopped it in the first round, letting it start round 8 was absurd and the ref letting it continue as long as he did was garbage, fights like this give you way more CTE than a clean knockout.

    Yeah you could see it was only going to take a clean right hand to put Kownacki in big trouble again and the ref should've seen that clearer than anyone

    Yeah. And he fired back that round and ended on his feet. Great job by the ref and corner not stopping it there. The towel came in when it should have in the following round. a warrior like Kownacki deserves to end his career on his shield. Hopefully this is it for him.

    Boxing like all combat sport is dangerous, these are why fighters sign up.....these are why fans tune in.

    Many more fighters have had to be forced to retire as a result of a clean knockout.

    We got to witness a great fight and Kownacki is fine. No problems. As fans it's not our jobs to care about the health of fighters.
