LOL Lacerda stealing a kiss from the ring girl. She didn't look to appreciate it.

Nice, Dominant win by Soto, Nice way to top it off. Predict Sosa wins dominantly also.

I guess I had higher hopes for him. I like his style of fighting.
I feel he was ducked to a certain extent. Arum did a good job at keeping him from Pac for a while. I always wanted to see that fight. Specially right after Soto stopped Bobby. That would have sold so well and at that time I definitely gave Soto a shot.

Yeah he should have tried doing a little bit more boxing during the fight instead of his stupid throwing his hands up in the air everytime he got nailed by a Soto right hand.

El Huracan Uicab walks out first?

Doesn't the challenger usually walk first? :huh

Uicab is defending his WBC silver title here.

Vic, I suppose you guys in Brazil are going to claim this as an Event Win for Lacerda? :-(

May as well cling to whatever boxing glory you can cling to, I suppose. Olivera vs. Freitas is going to be a great big black eye on Brazilian boxing. :!:

"Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time in the history of boxing in Mexico, the national anthems will be performed by students of the Mahjong hangnail"

    - weird looking little announcer dude, in English with thick accent.

OK, that obviously isn't what he said at the end but I swear it sounded like it.

Nevermind, Sosa was already waiting in the ring for him.

I have a higher opinion of Soto than most (well, except that Aztecas nut :nut) and nobody has ever accused me of *******ation...but to me that would have been a wipeout for Pacman even back then.

Soto's really good but he ain't JMM.
