They slam together and Uicab LIFTS the larger Sosa off his feet and body slams him. That was a far more blatant lift and slam than in Hopkins vs. Dawson I. Point deduction from Uicab. Time in. Sosa is angered by the slam. Uicab is angered by the point deduction. They're angry, and THEY ARE GOING TO WAR!! Fast hooks and facial uppers traded on the inside. Head and body. Nady is circling on the outside, letting them work it out. This is great. Uicab whips over the top with a right hand. Finally it's Sosa who steps out of the pocket. Uicab folds himself up and darts forward with jabs to the body. Flip-ups to the body and a left hook to the face by Uicab charging in. Sosa slides his feet back and unrolls his jab. Uicab dives past the jab and slices at the body. Sosa feints with a 1-2 but pulls it at the last second.

They did elicit many cheers - so the man from Cancun is probably up.

 

Round 5

Jab to the body by Uicab. Sosa steps back, compasses around to the left, and drops his own long jab to the body. Uicab dances around and leaves his jab on autopilot. Sosa keeps walking into it. Uicab darts in, swooshing his upper body through the danger zone to land body punches while leaned forward. Quick hands by Uicab. Sosa tries to bash him with overhand rights behind his slower left jab. Uicab is darting underneath and tapping up at the body from below. Sosa is getting closer and closer, landing more clubbing shots across the back. A few of Sosa's jabs are now finding the mark as well.

Improvement for Sosa there, but still a shutout minus the point deduction.

Round 6

Sosa twitches his left, threatening to throw the jab. Uicab thinks about darting past, looking to circle to the left but wary of the jab. He lingers too long thinking it over and doesn't see the right hand coming. Bam. Sosa steps in and hooks wide at the body. Uicab darts in close to him, countering to the body. Sosa goes down. Slip. Nady very firmly yells "NO NO NO NO" and waves his arms exaggeratedly in case anyone thought it was a knockdown. Sosa is clubbing with rights from outside. Uicab is still darting in and pecking the body but it isn't bothering Sosa or shying him from throwing his own heavy shots. Big hooks put together by Sosa. Uicab may have been a bit hurt by a couple of them. He's flopping around, a little off balance, and leaning into Sosa on the inside. More hooks by Sosa! Uppercut flurries to the body by Sosa!! Clubbing shots to the back of the head on the inside!!! UICAB DOWN!!
