On the undercard of the Gesta bout... two undefeated prospects who have recently both upped their game before this crossroads bout. Robles is a slight underdog at around +130.

Has anyone seen either of these guys already? Impressions?

Valerio is probably the favorite because of being a GBP athlete at a GBP event. lol

Robles Jr is also signed to GBP I think? He's fighting at home as well.

Yeah very forgiving of boxing to let this guy come back from the dead & continue his career.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of video on Robles jr. Valerio from what I've seen is a good young fighter but one with flaws who is definetly beatable at this stage. It's a good fight & if it's close they might just call it a draw.

Robles is looking really good imo. Great footwork, good defense, really good shot selection and variety. Power is also there but no idea if it's real power or not, will be seen soon with better opposition.

Valerio looks MUCH bigger. Officially Valerio is 5'8 and Robles 5'7 but this isn't correct. I think Valerio is at least 5'10 or 5'11. Valerio definitely has some kind of power. He ko'd Guadalupe de Leon who is a granit chin gatekeeper.

This is looking like a coin toss but Valerio has some small advantages in terms of power and size i assume. If he plays out his size he should take the decision in any way.

Robles has the faster hands, and is the all around better talent, I think he grinds him down and stops him in the later rounds. Neither of hem have faced anyone with a pulse, but probably by a hair, Manny has the better resume.
