Uruquay clearly wanted to win the final round and came strong from the beginning. Tatli seemed to have his running shoes on for the final moments. Both guys celebrate at the final bell.

    114-114 DRAW

So all Helenius has done since losing to Whyte is rob some losing record Belarusian twice in a row?

Yeah, somebody order the Nightmare an Uber home. Time to call it a career and sleep it off, big guy.

This was somehow a way better performance and a way bigger disappointment at the same time lol. You would’ve hoped he could’ve improved to the point where this would’ve been easy work for him but I guess it’s not to be

And to think this same version of Helenius rocked Whyte early and managed to last the distance while in sparring mode..... Says a lot about the division. Here's to hoping Dychko snd Rivas gets some momentum and that Hrgovic pan out. Otherwise more grim(probably worse) are ahead for the division.

I kinda wanna call BS on this.
Helenius has always been a big puncher and Whyte is not some iron chinned beast.
And plenty of guys have went into survival mode to go the distance with an opponent who is leagues above them.

And Whyte is Whyte. No one really considers him among the elites of the division. A division which has been weak for over a decade now, only to be revitalized by name opponents facing each other (aka guys like Whyte and Parker).

It is not Whyte's fault that he himself has climbed the ranks and made a name for himself.

At one point Arturo Gatti was the biggest name on Mayweather's resume. What does that say about Floyd? Nothing! Arturo was clearly not the best he had faced, he was just a big name.

All in all, the division might be lacking elite talent, but it is not lacking in competition. The big guys are fighting each other. (every now and then again)

I got a feeling Big Rob is like Big Pricey at this point. Both are one KO loss away from retiring and both will go on until that happens...
