...............Moving up a few pounds is just smoke and mirrors. In his case at least, it means nothing. It's terrific that he says he'll feel more comfortable at the higher weight. Now someone just needs to teach him how to actually fight. He is among the more helpless, one-dimensional also-rans I've seen masquerading as a top contender in many years.
Miranda was a monster, unitl this happened:vonnecunt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFr_uPHUnFo I think Pavlik ruined Miranda. If he comes back and stacks up a few decent wins, I'll admit I was wrong, but until then, I think he is shot to ****.
Miranda is not shot he just can't take a punch from a World Class Puncher. He has a Glass Jaw. As soon as he fights a puncher again he will get KOed again.
And here is the 'proof of the pudding'. Most Miranda haters are really Kelly Pavlik haters. :deal Thanks to you mindless newb for making this so glaringly obvious. :thumbsup
Yep -- he lost to Pavlik -- the universally recognized #1 middleweight in the world, and 4th man in history to win the middleweight title while still undefeated. The same man who beat Taylor twice, and currently has the best resume' in the division. DAMN -- that's harsh -- Edison must be a complete tomato canatsch Now -- please allow me to be the first to extend the traditional ESB welcome --- SHUT THE **** UP NOOB!!
Sorry but Pavlik is so easy to hit its funny. miranda has 0 footwork which will cost him. Pavlik pre Hopkins was the most over hyped fighter ever.
Abrahams has the best resume and Taylor beat Nard as he was the first fighter more negative than himself. Abrahams beat Miranda in much better style btw. Pavlik is so easy to hit and with his dodgy chin Abrahams KO`s him inside 6rds. Taylor just had the style for Pavlik, people with stamina or footwork take him to school every day of the week.
Sorry goofball -- but you don't go 89-9 and win multiple national championships in the amatures, and then become the 4th man in history to win the linear MW title while still undefeated by being over rated. That you do with skill. I take it you haven't learned much in the 3 weeks you've followed boxing:hi:
I think anywhere else that was a TKO. I have the raw footage. Miranda's head butt came shortly after the jaw. That allowed him to regroup for a couple minutes and then do a lot of running. All AA had to do was cross his arms low and the ref would deduct another point for a low blow. One more would have been a DQ. Miranda could not go to the body after that for fear of the DQ. Now what can you do against AA's guard? "Crude Slugger" Miranda made AA look pretty bad that day.
