didn't see the fight, but what i remember reading was that he seemed weak/drained. that said, he should've sought a few opinions regarding the weight loss issue and he probably should lay off the weights a bit so he doesn't have to cut so much.

 

all he has been doing since he got airtime was writing checks that he was the best middlewieght in the division and if not that the hardest puncher and if not that a true fighter who doesnt dodge nobody. sadly enough we found out his body couldnt cash it in

He was in the best shape of his life for this fight. Period. But this is Edison. He needs to believe so he can come back. But what he really needs is some, well, ANY defense.

 

Miranda is a grade-A disphit.. talks smack and doesn't back it up.

 

Edison was too prepared, sometimes you can peak at just the right time and that was the problem for Edison. Plus the small part of getting punched in the face really hard.

larry merchant was saying how he would fight anybody...that anybody was green and we found out he had not guts (literally) and was more interested at looking at his shoes.

before he fought abe his higgers refereed to him as the hardest hitting middlewieght out there pound for pound the haeviest handed fighter. then loses to abe who alfairness should of been rewarded a fairer fight but still he didnt do anythign to really win the fight except a broken jaw.

so he is now seen as the champion emiritus calling out jermain taylor and calling him weak and a poor champ.atsch
then gets pulverised by some kid called kelley

Miranda thinks his secret is well kept. But we see. His BIG punch resistance is no where to be found.

He doesnt need to use excuses because I like watching him get ko'ed.

I just lost a huge amount of respect for this guy.

 

like i said i didn't see the fight. he surely looked "cut" and all but i thought just by the clips and pictures that he was too cut. you need some fat in your diet and on your body to perform at your best. all that said even if he was weak, it's a 'weak' excuse and he should just work his way back up.
