Eh, no biggie. Some fighters just aren't wired to accept that someone could be better than them. I'd rather Miranda have that attitude and continue to give us exciting fights than to admit the beatdown, have his confidence ruined like Lacy ,and wind up a shell of his former self.

In some cases, denial CAN be a good thing.

I gotta admit though, I was really curious with what excuse would come out. I wasn't expecting the nutritionist lol.

He got totally outclassed by AA both fights in reality, the second one just totally wiped out any doubt at all who is better after some of the events in the first fight.

ill never forget the look he gives the interviewer after he says he broke his back... there was just a momentary wtf moment of silence....

    matter of fact

i think mike tyson was as surprised as the reporter was at what came out of his own mouth

body building diets are for looking good not performance, mirandas team should have known they were not hiring a performance nutritionist

Between two sides of an argument the truth lies somewhere in the middle. As Bobby already said bodybuilder's diets are to make them lean and appear riped however if you have talk to body builders before people would know that after posing in a competition, they talk about how drain they are just from posing. Boxers are not bodybuilders and shouldn't train or eat like ones either. They(boxers)have to have endurance. Now if your nutritionist has you on a bodybuilder's diet , then yea you will look good but you will have no endurance. A boxer with poor endurance will get KTFO. Did this hurt Miranda,Maybe alittle but did it cause him to lose the fight, NO. I personally havent seen him improve his boxer skills in his last few fights. He relies too much on big punches instead of boxing skills and defense which should be the focus of his training. From what I remember him saying he doesn't lift weights and he is just genetically strong and build that way. So why get a nutritionist to make you stronger when you already have a good punch. This just shows me that there are problems with his career management and instead of making excuses for his loses, he needs to look at how is career is being managed. Because he is not improving anywhere in his boxing skills but declining.

I don't get it. Why there are so many hate ??? Miranda is a great boxer as is AA.
Personally i feel ,that Miranda should look for a weaknesses ,what cost him a fight. Maybe it's something to do with diet. Maybe something else. I know , that professionals have the weakest immune system at the pick of the form. It means ,that if you put so many energy to develope a body - your general healt might be weaker.

Main point is - if you are one of the best ,you should never admit ,that somebody is Simply better than you. Continue looking ,what should you change and develope yourself.

    What a crock of ****.

**** boxing fundamentals lost him that fight.

Somehow i don't think his diet effected where he held his guard early in the fight, the KO had nothing to do with anything other than poor defensive technique.
