Not a very good fight and not an impressive win for Miranda. Vegas wasn't really hurt, but the ref stopped the fight.

Yeah, the great Miranda seems to be OFFICIALLY shot after being in far too many wars.

    Pavlik
    Allan Green
    Abraham x2
    Sherwin Davis
    Jose Varela
    David Banks
    Howard Eastman

An all-time great seems to be on the verge of retirement folks!

I kinda had that feeling...After Abraham TKO him, he seemed to have lost his edge and you can kinda tell in the interview that he was really losing it mentally....I hope he can bounce back but to be honest with you., I think he's done on the elite stage.

Thats what I thought...I'm here at work so I couldnt see the fight, but a person can speculate and I just had a gut feeling that he has lost his mental toughness...Gotta love his attitude to please the crowd, but I cant lie to myself...if he was to fight any decent live opponent, I think he gets his ass handed to him. Hate see Miranda go throught that especially the kind of childhood Miranda had.

I was being sarcastic but you're right anyway. Miranda wasn't that good to begin with in my opinion, he's a decent fighter at best but not an elite one. Even though I read a lot about his childhood the excuses he comes up with after every loss are pathetic, can't really respect nor like someone like that. The only one he gave credit for a few days only out of embarrassment is Abraham after the rematch, he never really gave Pavlik any credit for destroying him.

He looked worn-out, like he's done.

He landed a few times but Vegas had some decent defensive skills.
Whatever,Miranda is done at elite level anyway.

who cares about that Glass Jawed joke? As soon as Miranda fights a legit fighter again he will get KOed like he always does.

 I thought I was the only one who thought Miranda was slightly overrated...I was at the Pavlik\Miranda fight live when they fought down here in Memphis...Once I heard that he used the weight drain bull**** excuse that turned me off on being a fan of his...Hell, I see why he gave Abraham his dues...He got beat up...:rofl Even Abraham's little brother got his some when he kicked him in the face (that was rather weak on Abraham's brother part though)

How about if this "hard-punching glass jawed joke" fights a legit fighter who also happens to be "a glass jawed joke" (Bute)?:hey

Probably so. I think Pascal vs. Miranda makes more sense now than ever.

I agree but the only thing about that is getting Pascal into the ring with Miranda.

P2K once PM'd me that I wouldn't believe the weight Miranda dropped close to the fight. He never specified how much and how long though. If you watch Miranda's ring entrance in that fight, you can tell there is something wrong. Miranda is what he is though.

Also, Miranda's "excuses" are what he uses to rehabilitate himself. I wouldn't be down on him for that. Just his coping mechanism.
