Miranda looked crappy... as usual. I think he has been fighting on the same level of skill and overall potential since Green fight. I saw nothing had changed in comparison to his devastating losses to both Abraham and Pavlik. The only difference is the level of opposition. He is skilled and strong enough to finish Vegas- or Banks-type guys but too flawed and, maybe, shot to give top guys much trouble. He is fun to watch anyway though...

The Green fight was his career-best I think...

I agree, Miranda didnt impress me in this fight. But to his credit, it was a small paid fight against an opponent that didnt do much for him. I know he had a good camp, but with the lack of funds and no real threatening opponent, he had virtually no sparring to prepare for this fight. He did it to keep busy and get some more exposure in Europe. His weight in the ring for the fight I would say was 190lbs+ which is about 10lbs heavier than I think he should be. At a true SMW fight at weighing in at 168lbs, he would enter the ring lighter and I would think have better speed.

And as Hermit says, the weight he lost 24hrs before weigh in against Pavlik would shock anyone. Would of it mattered? Who knows, but it sure didnt make him any stronger!

The reality is, Miranda has lost a ton of steam since that fight. I am hoping he can get a big fight and pull of the upset. I hear Pascal or Ward are the two most likely next opponents. If Pascal, it would be in Montreal, where, Miranda would love to fight. Great fans there.

Good luck to you Miranda, you always got a fan here!

Oh I see Pantera2k is in here once again with the weight/health issues of Edison.

Would you mind explaining your hint about Arthurs steroid use aswell?
Just thought you'd clear it up now that you're here, you coward.

There's a reason he does not compete at 200lbs P2K, the likes of David Haye, Tomasz Adamek etc would brutalize him in only a round or two.

hmmm...so there's little chance of anyone at Showtime being interested of feeding him to Bute, then...they're going to feed him to Ward...:think

What has he done to deserve a shot at Bute?

Nothing. He was one of a couple ranked in the IBF's top 15 that would have been eligible for being selected for a voluntary defence in June.

It looks like it will be Bika again, though.

Someone who has Showtime picking his opponent for him out of those available in the IBF's top 15, for the upcoming voluntary defence...Bika's the best of those available, and the highest ranked, and the best preparation for Andrade...but also the highest risk...and...if he opens up a cut...etc...could spoil quite a few plans...
