On the undercard of Lucian Bute vs. TBA in Montreal. It should be a really exciting (and short) fight with 2 big punchers. I favor Pantera in this one. I hope showtime televise this fight!

Stop hating your twin brother, men. He had a harsh life. Your mama left him alone on the streets. :bart

Miranda is a punching bag now.Predictable fight for Montreal promoters to rip the local fans.

Hopefully he learned a lesson and cuts out his antics in the ring..

    Who's training him these days?

...or this fight was sanctioned by the WBO as the prologue to an eliminator, or a first step towards getting Stieglitz a mando anyway. Unless Ornelas was his indeed a mando (re: WBO supervisor attending the fight), but damn the man lost to Rubio..!

    Top 10 WBO (SMW):

    1. Dirrell
    2. AA
    3. Mendy
    4. St-Juste
    5. Degale
    6. Balzsay
    7. Gutknecht
    8. Bouadla
    9. Kashtanov
    ...
#10 - Sierra. Miranda KO'ed him in the 1st round just before failing vs Bute.

St-Juste (#4) vs an unranked dude who dropped Sierra (#10).

Hopefully the winner faces Stieg next summer or late '11. :hey

    ...

"Rip the local fans"???? - you're ****in insane. This is a great undercard fight considering Bute is only fighting Magee. Miranda is a known name in Montreal, the Bell Centre will be close to full on March 19th.

Keep on hatin'.. I mean truckin'. :p

St-Juste is an 38 years old southpaw who underperforms from time to time but he's got WAY too much power for Miranda at this point. He's probably the hardest hitting canadian pound for pound.

But he's somewhat underdized at 168.

I don't know if I'd go that far. The problem is that we haven't seen him tested in a while, only against top level competition. He knocked out Francisco Sierra in one, and Sierra subsequently dominated Don George. He outboxed and then knocked out David Banks a few years ago. He outboxed Allan Green a few years ago. He probably won a round or possibly two against Bute before getting KOed. And St. Juste has been outboxed by a couple of journeymen. If Miranda's chin can hold up, I have little doubt he would beat St. Juste.

That's what's interesting. Possible slugfest in the early to mid rounds... if it goes the distance, I too foresee Miranda winning it.
