If Miranda gets TKO/KO'ed by old-man's-strength Renan, I'll be the first guy to qualify Ward's power as sub-par. He never rocked Miranda very hard.

At the same time, I'm almost positive St-Juste would KO Allan Green LOL

Should be an explosive undercard fight.

Well, I think we can safely predict a KO. Miranda's chin is awefully cracked at this point and it's not a good thing against a puncher like St-Juste. However, St-Juste hasn't faced the kind of competition that Miranda has. Edison is a gatekeeper. He has only lost to Bute, Ward, Pavlik and Abraham and these guys are talented, so he's doing a good job at keeping the scrubs outside the gates.

St-Juste isn't on the same level as the guys who won against Miranda. If Edison can protect his chin for a few rounds he'll win.

    Miranda by TKO round 6

St-Juste is a boring slugger. If he can't ko Miranda in the first 3 or 4 rounds, he's done. Miranda defeat at the hands of AA the first time is way better than any single St-Juste win. St-Juste never beat anyone of note. GOD, St-Juste was even outboxed by the dangerous Marcus Upshaw...

Renan has been begging for a rematch with Upshaw for quite a while now.

Resume wise, St-Juste's got nothing on Miranda. But at 38, Renan is desperate to get a title shot and will come out as a real storm in this one. Like you, and like I said earlier in this thread, I believe there's no way St-Juste decisions Miranda -- which is exactly why this will be an exciting fight to watch.

If St-Juste hammers Miranda, bring on Stieglitz for Renan's dream shot. :happy

    :good

And Stieglitz is a winnable fight for St-Juste if he put enough pressure. This is really the last chance for Renan.

If you say so. I thought Miranda won round 1, and I know others who thought he won round 2 as well. In round 3 Bute took over swiftly and viciously. But Bute fought very tentatively in the first two rounds.

Miranda has only lost to champions or future champions. St Juste seems far from the level Miranda has lost to. However, who has Pantera actually beaten? Allen Green? David Banks? An older Howard Eastman? His best fight was his controversial loss to Abraham in Germany. So where does St Juste rank among Miranda's wins? Would a Miranda victory over St Juste be his best career win?

When I first heard this offer for Miranda I thought it was a no brainer win for him. I'm not so sure now. He has a lot to prove, and this is a career deciding fight for him. From the sounds of it, we will have an early war with fireworks from the first bell.

St-Juste is a 38 years old local guy. If Miranda isn't brain dead from the Bute's KO he will win this easily.

I think Miranda should win this one but a good left by St-Juste could do the job. Miranda has more power but maybe a more fragile chin, maybe.

I dont think Miranda's chin is a big question. It's not granite, but far from glass. He put his chin out and stepped right into an awaiting Bute uppercut. It was a perfect punch. Not many would have even gotten off the canvas.
